”We Don’t Have a Good Relationship” – Draymond Green Reveals Who He Didn’t Like And Hates As His Teammate
Before the 2023 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors made a trade to acquire Chris Paul. In the deal, they added Jordan Poole. The trade was made mostly for business reasons, although Paul is an experienced player who can lead the bench players.
If the team keeps Draymond Green, there could be some tension among the players in the locker room. Back in 2020, Draymond Green openly said that he doesn’t like Chris Paul and their relationship is really bad.
Draymond Green hated Chris Paul

“I don’t like CP at all, we don’t have a good relationship at all. but I respect his hustle and I respect his IQ… I took it upon myself to create division there [between Chris Paul and Steph Curry,” Green said.

It’s possible that the relationship between Draymond Green and Chris Paul has gotten better since the video was made. Even if they don’t get along personally, we can expect both Paul and Green to handle the situation professionally if Green remains on the Warriors after free agency.
Last season, Chris Paul played for the Phoenix Suns and averaged 13.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game. He is a good player who can help a team compete for the championship. It’s not known yet if he will win his first championship with the Golden State Warriors.
Stephen A. Smith doesn’t like the move
Stephen A. Smith is not in favor of the Golden State Warriors’ decision to acquire Chris Paul. He expressed his dislike for the move “from a basketball standpoint”.
“I did not like it one bit and I love me some CP3…I don’t like this from a basketball standpoint…This is a business move… I don’t see how this makes it better and I don’t see how this is an ideal fit…I thought they needed more size…in this situation, I don’t think it’s a good one,” he said.
People are unsure how Chris Paul will perform for the Warriors. However, the team has a history of getting the most out of veteran players, and he may be an excellent fit in coach Steve Kerr’s system.
