In the Indian Premier League 2022, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 6. The IPL 2022 match between RCB and KKR will be held at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai on March 30th, 2022 (Wednesday), with both teams aiming for a victory.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) scored more than 200 runs in their first game of the IPL 2022 against Punjab Kings, but they still lost, and it’s highly probable that they will make a few changes to their playing XI for their next game against KKR.
Possible Changes That RCB Might Make Against KKR
1. Siddharth Kaul for Akash Deep
Despite the fact that Akash Deep performed admirably in his first game, taking the crucial wicket of Liam Livingstone, he proved to be far more expensive than the Royal Challengers Bangalore management had hoped. There is clearly an argument for a change with a more experienced bowler like Siddharth Kaul on the bench.
Siddharth Kaul has lots of IPL experience, having previously played for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a significant amount of time. Siddharth can not only swing the ball if given the new ball early, but he also has a few variations in his repertoire, making him a better bet at this point than Akash Deep.
2. Mahipal Lomror for Shahbaz Ahmed
RCB used Shahbaz Ahmed as a specialist left-arm spinner, but the majority of the overs were bowled by their four quicks and specialist leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga. Despite the fact that they were all expensive, captain Faf du Plessis never looked at Shahbaz after delivering him a single over.
If RCB does not require a large number of overs from Shahbaz, Mahipal Lomror, who can bowl a couple of overs of part-time left-arm spin but is a destructive batsman in the middle order, may be a better option. As a specialist batsman, Mahipal will provide more to RCB’s batting depth than Shahbaz if he is included in the playing XI.
