3 Manchester United Players Real Madrid can demand for Luka Jovic

If you thought the transfer gossip is ending, we have some news for you. Although there are just a few days left before the window shuts for the Premier League, there are still a few links that could become reality. Luka Jovic to Manchester United could be one of them. Reports suggest that Manchester United has an eye for the Real Madrid striker after he failed to cement his spot in the starting eleven for Real Madrid.

The deal might not be as straightforward since United has already splashed their budget on Jaden Sancho and Raphael Varane. This could mean a swap deal is likely between the two clubs if it ever comes into fruition.

Ever since Carlos Ancelotti took over the reins at Real, there has been a shift in the paradigm. New players are being given opportunities since his style differs from that of Zidane.

Here are three players who could end up in Spain in exchange for the Serbian striker.

1. Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba has been rumored to leave the Manchester camp for a while now and has always regarded Real Madrid as a dream destination. His inevitable move to Real could happen in an exchange deal where both teams benefit. Ever since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes, Pogba’s attacking role has been restricted, not giving him the freedom that he desires. He could be an integral part of Ancelotti’s squad.

2. Donny van de Beek

His high-profile move to the Premier League from Ajax has been a flop, to say the least. In his defense, he has not done much wrong but he just has not been given the chance to prove himself due to an overcrowded midfield at Manchester United. A move away after just a season from Old Trafford is not as unlikely as it seems. If Real Madrid comes knocking down on his doors, it will be very hard for him to resist a move away.

3. Eric Bailly

This is a very long shot, but there is clearly no chance that Bailly starts over Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, or Victor Lindelof for Manchester United. He is definitely a surplus player and Manchester United could use him to trade Luka Jovic. Real Madrid lost their captain and best center back to PSG this summer and is in need of defensive reinforcements even though they did sign David Alaba.
