Watch: Shaquille O’Neal shares video in which Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar crowns LeBron James

Shaquille O’Neal was a commentator on TNT last night and got to see LeBron James set the all-time NBA scoring record live.

Shaq and LeBron had a conversation after the game, during which LeBron declared himself the greatest of all time (GOAT) following his achievement of becoming the NBA’s leading scorer in the regular season. He had previously secured the playoff scoring record in 2017.

After LeBron became the all-time leading scorer, Shaquille O’Neal shared a video that shows James walking up a red carpet, surrounded by NBA legends, towards a throne where Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are waiting to crown him with a crown that says ‘all-time leading scorer.’

LeBron is a legend who is trying to extend his career and rewrite everything we know about how long players can compete at the greatest level. This was a brilliantly created video that really illustrates this.

Can Lakers reach playoffs?

LeBron James’s presence in the playoffs used to not even be a talking issue since he would always be there, regardless of how poorly his team performed. Sadly, James is no longer capable of leading a team by himself like he did in Cleveland in the past, whether that was in 2007 or 2018.

Despite his best efforts this season, it appears increasingly implausible with each setback the squad suffers. The Lakers’ loss in LeBron’s historic game last night caused them to drop five games below .500 overall. LeBron will likely miss the playoffs for the second straight season and for the third time in his stint as a Laker if they are unable to make trades to enhance the roster.
