Ronda Rousey

As per what Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio, Ronda Rousey has told WWE that she will be leaving soon. Ronda Rousey has a specific end date in her contract with WWE and is expected to leave the company before WrestleMania next year. This is the latest update on Ronda Rousey’s situation, according to Meltzer.

“The thing was, and I don’t know the date, and it might be SummerSlam, and it might be a little bit after. But the deal is that Ronda has a hard out. She gave a date. This is my last date. I remember talking to somebody there, and it was like, well, I know they are going to do this and make the big match for WrestleMania. No, it’s like, her hard out is, they didn’t give me the date, but it’s long before WrestleMania,” he said.

Rousey’s road to SummerSlam

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were a team in WWE and had the Women’s Tag Team Championships. They had a match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez at Money in the Bank 2023. During the match, Shayna turned against Ronda, which was a big surprise. This allowed Liv Morgan to defeat Ronda and win the tag team titles. Afterward, Ronda went on RAW to confront Shayna and talk about what happened.

Shayna talked back to Ronda. The fans at the event were loud for Shayna as she spoke and then fought Ronda in the ring. This might be the first time Shayna becomes a face because the fans like her.
