41-Year-Old WWE Veteran to Face Rhea Ripley in Title Showdown on WWE RAW Next Week
Rhea Ripley, the Women’s World Champion, will defend her title for the first time on WWE RAW next week. Rhea Ripley and Natalya, who previously fought at Night of Champions, will face off again.
Ever since Ripley became the SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 39, she has been unbeatable. At Backlash, she defeated Zelina Vega in less than 10 minutes, and at Night of Champions, she easily defeated Natalya in only 70 seconds.
Last week, she was supposed to fight the Natalya on RAW, but the match couldn’t happen because someone attacked her opponent before the match. However, it looks like they will have another match against each other in the future.

As per a recent report from BWE (via Xero News), Rhea Ripley will have a very important rematch against Natalya for the title on next week’s RAW. This match could be a huge moment in their careers.

Natalya has been depressed and upset since her humiliating loss to The Nightmare at WWE’s last special event in Saudi Arabia. During a backstage interview on RAW a few weeks ago, the 41-year-old even hinted at changing her character.
Natalya praised Ripley
Rhea Ripley is very popular. Her last loss in a one-on-one match was in May 2022 when Liv Morgan beat her. Since then, she has achieved great things in wrestling, like being the first woman to win the Royal Rumble starting from the #1 spot.
Even though Ripley defeated Natalya easily, the Queen of Harts still had a lot of positive things to say about her. In a recent interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter, the 41-year-old referred to Rhea as very talented.
“It’s funny because I lost so much sleep over that match. And honestly, it had a profound impact on me because when I was first told I was gonna be at Night of Champions facing off against Rhea Ripley, it was like a dream match because Rhea is like a generational talent,” Natalya said.
The WWE currently does not have many good opponents for Ripley, but there are rumors that she may face Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 40.
