42-Year-Old WWE Superstar Gives His Verdict on the Popularity of Dominik Mysterio, Also Praises Roman Reigns
Dominik Mysterio has become very popular in WWE in the last year. Since joining The Judgement Day, he has worked hard and has become a famous heel. The Miz discussed how fans dislike Dominik and also praised other wrestlers who are performing well right now.
Nowadays, everyone knows who Dominik is. As a heel, people really don’t like him and they boo him whenever he tries to talk.
The Miz on Dominik Mysterio
The Miz went on Busted Open Radio and talked about different WWE wrestlers. He said nice things about Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Seth Rollins, mentioning that they were all doing really well in their current positions.
“I think Cody Rhodes has been doing an incredible job. Roman Reigns, his storyline with The Bloodline has been impeccable. Seth Rollins, every time he walks out the fans are singing his praise,” The Miz said.
After that, he talked about Dominik Mysterio. He remembered how just two years ago, people were unsure if Dominik would succeed. But now, he mentioned that the strong dislike Dominik receives from the fans is actually a good thing for his character.
“Dominik Mysterio, who, maybe two years ago, people were thinking he’s not gonna get it. We’re not sure. Now he is the most over heel in professional wrestling and it is fun to watch. He’s a person who is a student of the game even though he’s a child from obviously the legendary Rey Mysterio. You look at Dominik and what he’s doing right now, it’s impeccable. He can’t even get a word out. That’s how much heat he has,” he added.

The Miz claims Dominik motivates him
In response to a question about whether he is past his prime, The Miz explained that he felt inspired by seeing the hard work of other wrestlers. Therefore, he was not slowing down.
“So it is fun to watch. It motivates me and no, I’m not slowing down. I mean, hell, right now, I’m promoting WWE at the American Century Championship playing golf all weekend for Peacock. So I’m nonstop. I always prided myself on being a hard worker and dedicated and that’s what I’ll continue to do,” he added.
The Miz is currently feuding with Tommaso Ciampa. Fans are excited to see how this develops.
