At WWE’s recent live event in Mexico City, Reigns protected his Undisputed WWE Universal title by facing Rey Mysterio. The Tribal Chief won and kept his title safe against the WWE Hall of Famer.
Fans laugh at Roman Reigns
A short video from the match is now spreading on Twitter. In the clip, Roman Reigns tries to perform a Superplex on Rey Mysterio from the top rope. It’s quite funny because Reigns couldn’t lift Rey onto his shoulder to complete the move. Rey was holding onto the turnbuckle for support, but seeing a strong guy like Reigns struggle to lift the 175lbs star made fans burst into laughter. You can hear many fans at the event laughing heartily in the video.

Reigns and Rey Mysterio had a feud in 2021 as well
Around 10 months after Roman Reigns began his epic reign as the Universal Champion, he started a rivalry with Rey Mysterio on WWE SmackDown. On June 18, 2021, they faced each other inside Hell In A Cell during an episode of SmackDown. Mysterio put up a great fight, but in the end, Reigns made him submit and won the match.
Reigns is now completely concentrating on SummerSlam 2023. At the big event, he will protect his Undisputed WWE Universal title against his cousin Jey Uso. The two are set to fight in a Tribal Combat at The Biggest Party of the Summer. The title of The Tribal Chief will also be at risk in this important contest.
