‘’Grab That Title’’ – 26-Year-Old WWE Star Claims He Wants to Dethrone Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns has a new challenger who wants to dethrone him.
Austin Theory is the one who wants to dethrone Reigns. He used to be a champion and some people criticized him.
But something surprising happened when the 26-year-old wrestler Austin Theory beat his hero John Cena at this year’s WrestleMania. Cena gave Theory his approval after the fight.
Austin Theory wants to dethrone Roman Reigns
On After the Bell, Corey Graves and Kevin Patrick talked to Austin Theory about how he handles people who don’t believe in him. The 26-year-old wrestler talked about times when things didn’t go well, like when he didn’t win a contract, but also when he had a really good time as the United States Champion.
After he lost his championship to Rey Mysterio on WWE SmackDown, Theory said he might try to win the United States title again or try to win Roman Reigns’ title.
“I mean, let’s take it back to the Money in the Bank contract. When I lost that, my career was over, and then look what I did. I had the greatest United States Championship run of all time. And if I decide to go and grab that title again, then I will, but maybe I’m focused on the ‘Head of the Table’?” Theory said.
Bill Apter claims Gunther is better than Reigns
Bill Apter said he likes Gunther more than the Tribal Chief as the best title holder on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted. Apter said that Reigns defends his Undisputed Universal title sometimes at important live events. But The Ring General defends his title more often and is almost the champion with the longest reign as Intercontinental Champion ever.
“Best current champion of pro wrestling. Let’s see… Roman doesn’t defend. Gunther! He defends it all the time,” Bill Apter said.
It will be exciting to see whether WWE promotes Austin Theory to the top and forces him to contend for the major championship against Roman Reigns.
