“I Was Worried” – Becky Lynch Explains Why She Was Afraid of Making Her Relationship with Seth Rollins Public
Real-life pro wrestling couples are sometimes included in the stories. WWE couples such as Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have teamed up in the past. They fell in love in 2019, and their relationship was revealed to the public in May of that year.
Rollins and Lynch were already famous back then. But Becky Lynch had some doubts about dating Seth Rollins in the beginning.

After dating for a while, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch had a baby named Roux in December 2020. They got married in June 2021. WWE used their real-life relationship and had them work together in a wrestling match before their wedding. Becky Lynch was worried about this happening, which was one of her fears when dating Seth Rollins.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Becky Lynch explained why she was worried about her relationship with Seth Rollins becoming public. Even though she believed that Seth was the perfect partner for her, she was afraid that they would eventually be required to participate in a story together.
“When I first started dating Seth, I had certain reservations about it being public. Not being public from the standpoint of in case things didn’t work out. I knew fairly early on that he was the one and that there wasn’t a more perfect person for me out there. But I was worried about us getting involved in a storyline in WWE and how that would be received,” Lynch said.
She didn’t know that WWE would make a storyline about their relationship when she dated Rollins. At Extreme Rules in 2019, Rollins and Lynch, who were top champions at the time, teamed up against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in a match where they put their titles on the line. Rollins and Lynch won the match and kept their championships. Later, Lynch took a break from wrestling because she was going to have a baby.
Seth Rollins is now the main champion on the RAW. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch is having a feud with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
