Former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn was stunned when Kevin Owens branded him an “Ucey piece of sh*t” at a recent WWE Sunday Holiday Supershow.
At the Survivor Series WarGames, Sami Zayn decided to support The Bloodline over his longtime friendship with Kevin Owens. In the waning seconds of the fight, Zayn struck Owens with a low blow. The Bloodline won thanks to a top rope splash from Jey Uso and a Helluva Kick from The Honorary Uce.
WWE conducted a live event in Portland, Maine, on November 27, 2022. Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and The Brawling Brutes defeated The Bloodline in one of the matches on the schedule (The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn). An enraged Prizefighter once challenged Zayn to get into the ring and battle him one-on-one during the match.
Kevin Owens insults Sami Zayn
The former Intercontinental Champion hinted at fighting Owens, who in a moment of fury called him a “Ucey piece of sh*t.” Fans began to boo Zayn as he departed the area after deciding not to fight his ex-best friend.
Owens and Zayn are the best of friends in real life
The Honorary Uce and the former Universal Champion are both seasoned competitors within the squared circle. Both men have made great strides and are now two of the most popular WWE stars. Zayn has previously spoken openly about his rivalry with Owens.
“I think a lot of Kevin Owens and myself, a lot of our success, we had a pretty healthy, I would say, competition with each other and I think we drove each other to get a little bit better. And every time I was kind of getting some steam, he’d start doing some stuff and he’d be accomplishing some stuff, and it kind of made up that game. So I think there is a healthy level of give and take competition there,” he said.
Owens’ dissatisfaction with what happened at the Survivor Series WarGames is obvious. He would do anything to get close to Zayn in the center of the ring. It appears that a singles match between the former best friends is imminent.
