Top WWE Star Was Released for Being a ‘Heat Magnet’ Backstage Despite Being Close With Triple H

Many superstars who were released by Vince McMahon have been re-signed by Triple H, including the three members of The Hit Row, Top Dolla, B-Fab, and Ashante Adonis. Backstage, Top Dolla generated a lot of heat, which led to his release.

On SmackDown last year, Hit Row made their main roster debut. However, not long after they joined the blue brand, the entire group was disbanded. When Swerve Strickland was let go by WWE, he quickly joined AEW. Now the other three members are back with the blue brand.

Top Dolla was released despite being close with Triple H

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, Top Dolla was a “heat magnet” backstage, which led to his release. He added that he did not have any heat with The Game and that they had a wonderful relationship. Last year, many superstars who were pushed in NXT were fired.

”Top Dolla was released by WWE last year because he was a “heat magnet” backstage. However, Dolla knew not to be a heat magnet with Triple H. Their relationship was never strained, which helped lead to Top Dolla’s return with Hit Row on last night’s SmackDown,” – Bryan Alvarez said.

Multiple released superstars re-hired

Since Vince McMahon announced his retirement, Triple H has assumed control of the WWE’s creative department. The Game didn’t waste any time in reintroducing stars he had supported in NXT.

Some of the names that have returned to the business since The Game took over include Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis, and Karrion Kross. According to rumors, he would bring in more superstars that were let go by Vince McMahon.

The former WWE Universal Champion Bray Wyatt is rumored to be making a quick comeback. The Game must do a fantastic job of establishing the former NXT Superstars on the main roster before signing too many superstars.
