WCW Legend Wants Roman Reigns to Face The Rock Over UFC Star

According to WCW great Konnan, he would rather see Roman Reigns square off against his cousin The Rock than Conor McGregor. It goes without saying that The Tribal Chief vs. Brahma Bull is one of the most eagerly anticipated matches in the whole wrestling industry, not just in the WWE.

The match has been rumored to be the main event at WrestleMania 39 for a while, and if new rumors are to be believed, it is “100%” the plan for the California event.

But many fans would also like to see the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion face off against Conor McGregor and other fantasy opponents. A listener questioned Konnan about the UFC legend’s potential as Roman Reigns’ dream opponent on the most recent episode of his Keepin’ It 100 podcast.

Konnan wants to see Roman Reigns vs The Rock

Konnan admitted that he would rather see Reigns take on Rock because it offers a much better opportunity and that McGregor should instead face Cody Rhodes or Riddle.

“You’re not gonna get bigger than Rock and Reigns. McGregor vs. Riddle could be good. McGregor vs. Cody,” Konnan said.

Reigns has a big challenge ahead at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022

Although Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2022, he now faces Drew McIntyre as a formidable opponent. At the upcoming Clash at the Castle event, The Scottish Warrior will go up against The Tribal Chief for the Undisputed Universal Championship.

The record-breaking reign of Reigns would undoubtedly end at the night, as many had expected, but it wouldn’t be an easy road for McIntyre. Roman Reigns enters the battle with the numerical edge thanks to The Usos. Karrion Kross might also make an appearance, trying to make a move during the championship match.
