We’ll look at several intriguing stories involving well-known figures like Roman Reigns, Bret Hart, and Vince McMahon in today’s WWE exclusives roundup.
One of the most recognizable factions in recent history was The Shield. After the group disbanded, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jon Moxley all went on to win the World Championship. Road Dogg, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, discussed how the three excelled in the ring right away.
1. Erick Redbeard is willing to return
Triple H has brought back a number of superstars who had been fired ever since he took over as creative director. Erick Redbeard, a former tag team champion and current member of AEW, stated that, given the chance, he would be open to returning for a singles run under the new management.
“I mean, if the opportunity comes for certain things and it is creatively beneficial to both of us, absolutely,” Erick Redbeard said.

During his time with WWE, where he was a multiple-time tag team champion, Redbeard went by the name Erick Rowan. He has joined forces with Danhausen to compete on AEW as the Beardhausen tag team.
2. Bret Hart on Vince McMahon’s exit
Bret Hart, a former five-time world champion, recently discussed Vince McMahon’s resignation as chairman of the WWE and said that, contrary to popular belief, he is not pleased with what happened to McMahon.
”I feel kinda sad about it, actually. I know people probably think I would be gloating or happy to see him go through what he’s going [through], but I don’t. I feel bad that it happened, or whatever’s happened,” Hart said.
No one has had as significant an impact on the company as McMahon, according to Hart, who also stated that he will be terribly missed. When the Wall Street Journal began looking into Vince McMahon, numerous claims against him came to light, forcing him to declare his retirement.
3. Road Dogg praises The Shield’s in-ring work
Road Dogg, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, recently lauded Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Jon Moxley. He acknowledged that the trio excelled in the ring and gives them credit for not hurting him or his tag team partner Billy Gunn during their conflict.
”I was watching so I knew what they had done because I was watching them, and they knew what I did. It was magic. They were really, really good. They were heels then, and they didn’t hurt me, they took it easy on me. I love those matches, I still remember those matches to this day,” Road Dogg said.
Road Dogg and Billy Gunn even won tag team titles during their brief return to the company. When The Shield first joined the main roster in 2014, they engaged in conflict with one another.
