Big E, a former WWE champion, recently made a statement regarding the accomplishments of other Black superstars in the organization, including Bianca Belair, the current RAW Women’s Champion.
WWE’s EST had a fantastic year, winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, dethroning Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38, defeating Bayley and Damage CTRL, and becoming a member of the victorious team at Survivor Series: WarGames. She is a top female superstar in the organization and has made significant strides throughout her brief time on the main roster.
Big E on Bianca Belair
Big E praised Bianca Belair in an interview with These Urban Times, saying that she is “crushing it.” She was also referred to as one of the “very biggest talents” in the business by the former WWE Champion.
“I’m so proud of just the amount of [Black] talent across the board. You look at one of the very biggest stars in our industry, that’s Bianca [Belair]. She’s been absolutely killing it, not just in the ring, but outside of it. Just from seeing the way that little girls from all backgrounds and colors, the way they connect with her is so cool,” Big E said.
Other stars, such The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley, were mentioned when the subject of Belair’s career in the WWE came up.
“Her husband Montez [Ford], his partner [Angelo] Dawkins, Bobby Lashley obviously. I don’t know what this man is made of, but I think he’s aging backwards,” Big E added.
Belair will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss
Little Miss Bliss rose to the top of the RAW Women’s Title race a few weeks ago on the red brand. She and The EST of WWE were pals because they had previously teamed up to fight Damage CTRL on numerous times. Asuka, Mia Yim, Becky Lynch, Bliss, and Belair were also a part of the latter’s WarGames team. They triumphed over Rhea Ripley, Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and Nikki Cross, who made up Team Bayley.
The EST and The Goddess, however, appear to have exhausted over time. Last week, Alexa Bliss struck Bianca Belair with a vase while announcing her intention to challenge for the title on RAW. As she hinges on switching to the dark side, the former women’s champion has also hinted at joining Bray Wyatt. On the first RAW of 2023, which will take place in Knoxville, the hometown of Bianca Belair, the pair will square off. Whoever wins will be fun to watch.
