Reports on Bobby Lashley Turning Down Major Offer from 38-Year-Old WWE Superstar
During Friday night’s WWE Saturday Night Main Event, Bobby Lashley received a massive proposal from his old partner Baron Corbin.
Last night, WWE held a live event in Monroe, Alabama. The show had lots of matches, and one of them was a one-on-one fight between Lashley and Baron Corbin.
Bobby Lashley rejects huge offer
Just before the match began, Corbin grabbed the microphone and proposed something to Bobby Lashley. Corbin reminded Lashley of their past partnership on RAW in early 2019. He also mentioned Drew McIntyre and how the three of them used to cause trouble for WWE’s good guys at that time. Corbin asked Lashley if he wanted to team up with him again. However, Lashley showed no interest at all, and so the match started.
Lashley was a complete heel in 2019
Back in early 2019, Lashley, Corbin, and McIntyre were the three most disliked wrestlers on the RAW show. They had conflicts with some of the most famous stars on the roster, like Kurt Angle and Braun Strowman.
They had a big fight against The Shield before WrestleMania 35. The Shield, made up of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns, won a major match against Corbin, Lashley, and McIntyre at Fastlane 2019. Later on, The Shield defeated the bad guys again at an event called “The Shield’s Final Chapter,” which happened to be Ambrose’s last time in WWE.
Lashley has made a lot of progress since then. Because of Lana, he had a massive battle with Rusev in 2019-20. The bout was very famous, and Lashley eventually won. Lashley even won the WWE championship twice. Despite being 46 years old, Lashley has a very muscular body when compared to other WWE wrestlers. He surely does not want to work with someone like Corbin again, especially since Corbin is untrustworthy.
