Roman Reigns Gets a Bold Message from Jey Uso Ahead of Their Big Fight at SummerSlam 2023

Jey Uso sent a message to Roman Reigns using social media. At WWE SummerSlam, they’ll compete for the title.

Last week on SmackDown, Reigns and Jey met to talk about the rules for their upcoming fight. The Tribal Chief will risk his WWE Universal Championship against his cousin.

Jey shared a picture on his Instagram Story from SmackDown. It showed him and Reigns sharing a respectful moment. He reacted to it with the ‘blood drop’ emoji, which is a symbol used by The Bloodline and the Anoa’i family members.

Tommy Dreamer on Reigns vs Jey Uso

Tommy Dreamer had a great idea for Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso. He shared it on the Busted Open podcast, suggesting that he wants the older members of the Anoa’i family, like Afa, Sika, Rikishi, and more, to be involved in SummerSlam.

“I would like to see a lot of the elders there. I would love to see Afa and Sika there. I would load up as many former WWE Superstars. I would love to see The Rock’s mom there. I’d like to see Tamina brought back, I mean brought back to television, she’s still with the company. Tonga Kid, Samu, Rikishi. I mean, Rikishi is a key part of this as well because of the boys, his sons,” he said.

Dreamer said that if they bring in many Anoa’i family members, Reigns vs. Jey will become a big and exciting event.

“It’s gonna be a big moment. That’s what I’d like to see, sort of a Game of Thrones, sitting in giant chairs, watching it. Have to bow to the elders before you get into the match. Something to that effect, I think, would be a cool thing,” he added.

At SummerSlam, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will fight for the third time. Roman has won twice previously, and on August 5th, he will attempt to retain his WWE Universal Championship title.
