Roman Reigns has done exceptionally well in WWE over the last three years. During this time, he has set and broken a lot of records. He added one more record to the list on August 30, 2023.
Reigns began his heel phase by surprising Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at SummerSlam 2020. It didn’t take him too much time to win back the Universal Championship. He beat both of them in a triple-threat match at Payback on August 30, 2020.
Roman Reigns creates new record

He won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38 by beating Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns has now been the Universal Champion for more than three years in a row, which hasn’t happened in over 35 years. He’s the first person to hold a world title for this long since Hulk Hogan did it from January 23, 1984, to February 5, 1988, which is a total of 1,474 days.

Reigns is like a megastar at the moment
Roman Reigns is definitely the most important person in the world of pro wrestling right now. This is clear from how WWE sets up his fights. He doesn’t wrestle very often, and he hasn’t lost a match where it’s just him fighting. Only one time has someone managed to pin him.
The parts with The Bloodline have been shown on TV more than other parts many times. Sheamus talked about this and was annoyed that other wrestlers didn’t get as much time. Konnan, who is a famous wrestler, also agreed with Sheamus.
“I’m thinking the boys are backstage, and they’re looking, and they’re like, ’30-minute segment? 20-minute segment? And we only got a five-minute match?’ We’d be doing probably the same thing, and we’ve been in those shoes before, so it’s a fascinating look because he’s talking for the dressing room. He’s not talking just for him, so he does have some valid points,” he said.
Sheamus says that Roman Reigns has made the most of his opportunities, but there are people on the roster begging for that amount of time to tell their own stories. He feels that the rest of the roster needs story time too.

Roman Reigns hasn’t competed in a wrestling match since SummerSlam 2023, when he faced Jey Uso. He appeared on SmackDown two weeks ago, but he is not expected to appear on any of the next nights.
