Ronda Rousey Criticizes WWE After MITB Loss and Risking Her $1.5 Million Contract

Ronda Rousey had a difficult time at WWE Money In The Bank. Rousey not only lost her WWE Tag team titles at the event, but she also got betrayed. Rousey and her partner Shayna Baszler competed as a team against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, but they were beaten.

But something unexpected happened. Shayna Baszler turned against Rousey and attacked her. Their opponents got an advantage because of this. Rodriguez then slammed Rousey, and Morgan finished the match to win the titles.

After Rousey joined WWE from UFC, she became one of the most popular stars in WWE. Her fame came from her impressive career in UFC, where she showed her dominance as a powerful MMA athlete.

Recently, she and Baszler won the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Just like her time in UFC, her wrestling career in WWE has been full of achievements. However, even with her success, she criticized WWE.

“When your time gets cut three times but you still put on a banger #ChickenSalad 🍗🥗 #TagTeamChampionships,” Rousey posted on Instagram taking a dig at WWE.

This might make the bosses mad and could affect the $1.5 million she gets from the company. But it could also mean something else.

Rousey could be angry for another reason

According to reports, Rousey is planning to leave WWE after the SummerSlam event. If things go as expected, she would have a match against her former best friend, Baszler, to resolve their issues. That’s what the fans want to see.

Rousey’s recent action could also be a storyline. By criticizing WWE, she might make the fans dislike her more, which can help her gain momentum for the upcoming match.

There’s a chance that fans have lost interest in Rousey. If Rousey blames WWE, supporters may defend WWE and boo her. This would actually increase the match’s excitement.
