Shayna Baszler Wants to Join Forces With a 4-Time Champion Who Is Currently Injured

Shayna Baszler is back on her own after her team-up with Ronda Rousey ended at Money in the Bank 2023. When she was questioned if she would be alright with joining forces with her real-life friend, she appeared to be interested.

In an interview with Sportskeeda, Shayna Baszler, who is known as The Queen of Spades, was questioned about her real-life friendship with Dakota Kai. They also asked if she would consider teaming up with Dakota Kai.

Shayna Baszler mentioned that she doesn’t mind the thought and remembered the occasions when she fought against Dakota Kai in NXT.

“If that presented itself for whatever reason, [then] yeah, I’m not opposed to that. She can take a beating. I’ve given it to her plenty of times. I know that wouldn’t be wasted,” she said.

Shayna Baszler is one of the top three most successful women in NXT history. She held the Women’s Champion title for the longest time over two separate periods. She became the first to win the NXT Women’s Championship two times, along with Charlotte Flair. She was clearly the strongest woman in NXT back then, but she hasn’t achieved the same level of success on the main stage.

When she moved to the main roster in 2020, she had the most powerful showing in Elimination Chamber history up to that time. She easily defeated all the other competitors to earn a chance to fight for the RAW Women’s championship at WrestleMania 36.

Even though many fans expected her to beat champion Becky Lynch at the time, she didn’t and hasn’t come close since.
