Vince McMahon Went Speechless as Roman Reigns Demanded Over “$100 Million” for His Next WWE Contract

Roman Reigns is without a doubt the biggest name in WWE right now. He has held the title of champion for almost 1000 days. WWE likes him highly, but is he truly worth a $100 million contract?

Right now, Reigns is involved in a “Bloodline Civil War.” He is getting ready to fight alongside Solo SIkoa against his cousins, The Usos. The two teams will have a big match at Money in the Bank.

But things were different about a year and a half ago, in November 2021. At WWE Survivor Series during that time, Reigns had a conversation with Vince McMahon. McMahon showed him a gift from The Rock called “Cleopetra’s Egg.”

During that time, there was a lot of promotion happening for a new movie called Red Notice, starring The Rock, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds. Even the Executive Chairman, Vince McMahon, got involved in the promotion. There was a segment where the stolen egg played a significant part.

But apart from all that, when Vince McMahon showed Roman Reigns the golden egg, he said it was worth $100 million. Reigns didn’t seem interested and walked away. Before leaving, Reigns told McMahon that his next WWE contract should be worth $100 million.

“Almost as much as my next contract,” Reigns said.

McMahon didn’t know how to respond and kept staring at the egg. Even though Roman Reigns is really important to WWE, it’s unlikely they will offer him a contract anywhere close to that much money. But if anyone can make such demands, it’s the Tribal Chief.

Roman Reigns’ current contract with WWE is said to be worth $5 million every year. This means he gets paid a similar amount to wrestlers like Brock Lesnar and John Cena. Additionally, his net worth in 2023 is estimated to be around $20 million.
