WWE Legend Claims 51-Year-Old Superstar Could Interfere in the Match Between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso

Tommy Dreamer recently claimed that The Rock would return for the match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023.

In two weeks, Jey Uso will try to do something very hard as he aims to defeat Reigns. They will face each other at SummerSlam in a special match called Tribal Combat. This big fight was officially announced last Friday during the Rules of Engagement segment on the show.

The Rock to return for Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso?

On the Busted Open podcast this week, Dreamer said that WWE might bring back The Rock, and he could give Roman Reigns a Rock Bottom move, helping Jey to win the match. Dreamer suggested that this comeback by the 51-year-old could lead to a future match between The Rock and Reigns, while also giving Jey Uso a chance to become the new champion and shine as the main event star.

“If it’s his time, you have to go with him. Honestly, another key Tribal member, I don’t know if you smell what he’s cooking. The Rock could come in, deliver a Rock Bottom, [and] Jey goes up for the Splash, new champ. Now you have Roman vs. The Rock for no title. And you have Jey as your champion. That’s another route that you can go,” he said.

Reigns last defended the title at WrestleMania 39

In the past few months, The Bloodline group has slowly collapsed. But even with these issues, Roman Reigns is still the strongest world champion of today. His latest title defense was at WrestleMania 39, where he defeated Cody Rhodes. However, at that time, The Tribal Chief had the full support of The Bloodline.

Roman Reigns has not defended his title in almost 100 days, so it will be interesting to see if he can defeat Jey Uso in Tribal Combat. Jey has already defeated him at Money in the Bank 2023 and will be confident of doing so again at SummerSlam.
