WWE Star Takes a Shot at Dominik Mysterio After Controversial WWE Finish

Following the most recent NXT episode, WWE Superstar Carmelo Hayes mocked Dominik Mysterio.

Mysterio came face-to-face with the NXT Champion during this week’s show. He talked to Hayes about how hard it is to be a champion and mentioned that while Hayes would have to wait until next week to find out his next opponent, Dom would know his opponent later that night.

Last week, it was announced that Mysterio would be the special referee for a big match between Mustafa Ali and Dragon Lee, who were fighting to decide who gets to challenge for a championship. During the exciting match, there was a bit of a problem at the end because Mysterio counted really quickly when Ali won. After the WWE show, Hayes talked about his chat with Mysterio earlier and made fun of him.

Dominik Mysterio will fight Mustafa Ali for the North American Championship at No Mercy. Meanwhile, Hayes will put his NXT Title on the line against the winner of the match next week between Ilja Dragunov and Wes Lee to find out who will challenge him.

It will be interesting to see if these moments between the two stars lead them to a feud.
