WWE Veteran Wants the Company to Push 32-Year-Old Star Ahead of Karrion Kross
Dutch Mantell recently discussed Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s roles in WWE.
Kross and AJ Styles fought on SmackDown. Kross thrashed AJ and got help from Scarlett. Scarlett tried to help Kross by interrupting the fight, but O.C. member Michin stopped her. This helped AJ win the match.
Dutch Mantell on Karrion Kross
On the newest Smack Talk show, Mantell said that Kross isn’t as interesting anymore and only exists to make others look good. He said Scarlett is getting more negative attention from fans and recommended that WWE Creative should think about promoting her.
“All they’re doing is they’re just doing maintenance on AJ. Karrion is just putting guys over. I don’t think it even helps a guy for them to beat Karrion Kross. It’s kinda expected when he goes into the match now. The girl’s got more heat than he’s got. I’d do something with her,” Mantell said.
Mantell claims fans don’t like Kross
Mantell also said Karrion Kross is skilled at wrestling but can’t make fans like him. He said that Styles helped Kross during the fight, and the match became exciting because Styles did very well in the ring.
“I don’t think he’s got it. I don’t think he has the chemistry to touch those fans, I just don’t. I mean, he’s a good enough worker, but that was all AJ tonight. That was his match,” he said.
It will be interesting to see what plans WWE has for Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
